ABOUT
US

Cornhole in Oklahoma has been exploding in popularity year after year. Once known as a tailgating, beer drinking game, cornhole is now thought of as a competitive sport with players racing for top finishes and qualifiers to national competitions. Within the last two years alone, Oklahoma Cornhole has quadrupled in membership size and is continuing at record speed. Five divisions are offered at our OCA Regionals and Majors drawing in a widespread reach of talent from youth, recreational, intermediate, competitive, and advanced players. Each season will begin in October and will end in the summer with a state championship to mark the end of the season. Members of Oklahoma Cornhole Association (OCA) who join during the first quarter of the season by December 31st will earn 500 bonus points as they begin their journey traveling across Oklahoma to battle for top rankings. This last year’s state championship was held at the Grand Casino Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma with 350-400 players in attendance that weekend. All players are welcome to join at any time during the season however, you must play in at least 33% of the total events to be eligible for the state championship playoffs. We support LOCAL leagues, clubs, organizations, and businesses. IN-STATE is the way to play. It grows the sport, supports regional cornhole communities, and builds local talent. Join us to begin a rewarding experience and your newest addiction!

Appleton-Owner
I have lived my entire life in the great state of Oklahoma. I am a proud mother of two daughters Madison Kate and Kenzie Cole and six precious grandchildren. My passions involve teaching, antiquing, and cornhole. I have been a teacher for Oklahoma City Public Schools for 26 years at Taft Middle School. When I’m not at school with students, I am working day and night to grow the game of cornhole in Oklahoma. My addiction began close to 9 years ago in the backyard at my then boyfriend’s house now husband, John Appleton. We have been happily married for four years.
